About Us
History
Kettle Moraine Insurance Professionals was founded in July of 2003. At that time, 11 dedicated insurance women joined together to form a local association of the National Association of Insurance Women (International). At this time, KMIP has over 60 members and continues to grow. The founding organization of NAIW (International) was formed in 1940, and also consisted of 11 charter members. It was formed to provide educational opportunities for women in the insurance industry. KMIP promotes education, provides leadership opportunities, networking, and community service. Part of our role within the insurance industry is to promote values of respect, integrity and honesty.
Opportunities
Our members represent every facet of the industry such as agents, brokers, claim professionals, risk managers, underwriters, insurance educators, marketing representatives, customer service representatives, agency owners and automation specialists.
NAIW (International) offers a wide variety of educational opportunities and materials for all members. KMIP continues to take advantage of many educational opportunities including Confidence While Communicating, Ethics, Underwriting for Non-Underwriters, Women in Competition, Loss Prevention Issues, and Identity Theft.
KMIP offers many networking opportunities including golf, caroling, mini golf, bowling, wine tasting and more. We provide scholarships for our members to attend conferences at all NAIW (International) levels. KMIP promotes literacy by conducting an annual book drive; collecting new and gently used children's books for the local community.
